In Disney’s High School Musical Junior, basketball team captain Troy Bolton discovers that Gabriella Montez, a brainy girl he met singing karaoke on a ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. When the two decide to audition for the school’s upcoming musical, it causes chaos in the student body. The cliques of Braniacs, Jocks, and the Drama Club, led by diva Sharpay Evans and her brother Ryan, try their best to bring them down, but Troy and Gabriella inspire change, and teach everyone that ‘we’re all in this together’ and to ‘reach for the highest star’.
