Budding actors and performers looking for their big break are being encouraged to audition for The Wedge Performing Arts Centre’s first ever in-house production of a play.

42 George Street, written by local actor and playwrite Melesa Eldred will hit John Leslie Theatre in July.

The Auditions are open to females between the ages of 20 to 70 years and Males between the ages of 20 to 50 years.

Production Managers and Directors are also on the hunt for costume designers, hair and makeup artists, stage hands, set builders and props.

To be eligible for an audition, potential candidates must attend an information night at The Wedge Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, March 18 at 7pm.

Sale Film Society

The Sale Film Society have a range of fantastic movies on throughout the year, here at The Wedge.

These are all held on certain week nights at 7.30pm, throughout the 2021 Season and are separate to the 2021 Wedge Season Shows.

Sale Film Society memberships are $60 per year – the ticket supplied from The Wedge Performing Arts Centre Box Office will be replaced by a membership card which will be used for all entries to films. Please contact the Sale Film Society to receive your membership card.
