Sale Film Society is a group of film enthusiasts who hope to share great movies with like minded people. The season includes foreign films, arthouse films and classic films, all shown on the big screen in the John Leslie Theatre at The Wedge.
Screenings are held on various weeknights through the year at 7:30pm. Each is listed in the What’s On section of The Wedge website; the full program is listed on the program page of the Sale Film Society website.
Annual memberships of the Sale Film Society can be purchased at The Wedge box office or via this link. The ticket we provide will be replaced by a membership card on your first visit to a Sale Film Society screening.
Annual Membership $50
Half Year Membership $30
(you will need to be logged in to purchase your membership)
What does the $50 get me?
Access to all ten films shown by the Sale Film Society in a given year as well as the ability to loan the films for use at home (library system)
What if I only want to see one film?
Guests can pay $5 to see one screening only. Guests names will be taken at the venue to ensure ‘serial guests’ don’t occur.
I’ve paid a membership at the Wedge box-office, how do I get a membership card?
Bring the ticket that the (lovely) staff at the Wedge gave you to your first screening where a Film Society representative will exchange that ticket for a Membership card.
What if I have a friend who want to come to one film?
See question three above.
