The Lives of Others is a 2006 German drama film that centres around the covert audio surveillance of East Berlin residents by a senior operative of the Stasi, the secret police of the former East Germany (German Democratic Republic).

Membership of the Sale Film Society for 2024 costs $50 for the year.

Members will be allowed to bring guests; however, an individual guest will be asked to pay a $5 donation towards the screening.

Should guests wish to attend a second screening later in the year, they will be required to become a member of the Sale Film Society.
