2023 Season: Vince Jones – Come in Spinner

The Wedge  is delighted to present the Australian debut of three-time ARIA Award-recipient, VINCE JONES performing the songs from the much-loved ABC television series “COME in SPINNER”

Accompanied by his dynamic 17 piece big band and special guest – Melbourne’s NINA FERRO (Judy Garland 1964 Australian Story), together they will breathe fresh life into the magical new arrangements from the highest selling Australian jazz album of all time!

The man with the voice from heaven, the acclaimed legendary Vince Jones, is delighted to be finally revisiting the songs from his award-winning album “Come in Spinner”, many of which he performed live in the television series. The double-platinum album won the hearts of thousands of Australian households, selling over half a million copies in the 90’s -seminal for its time. JONES and FERRO will be showcasing for the very first time – dynamic new interpretations of much-loved iconic songs of the 40’s Swing era; ~ Cole Porter’s “I Got you Under My Skin”, Gershwin’s “The Man I Love”, “You Go to My Head”, and many more classic songs from WW11 era.
