Michael Waugh has celebrated Gippsland in song more than any contemporary songwriter or performer.
Returning to the hometown of the bluelight discos, football matches and house parties immortalised in his music, Michael and his band bring you an intimate evening of music about Gippsland.
Waugh draws the audience in with humour and pathos, painting loving portraits of his family, dairy farming upbringing and local places, such as Sale, Glenmaggie (The Weir), Heyfield (Heyfield Girl) and Maffra (Mafeking Hill).
